Like many others I grew up watching Bob Ross. One of his favorite sayings was "there are no mistakes here, just happy accidents. You can learn to work with anything that happens here." For me this is the true joy of art. Does the line you just drew not do exactly what you had in mind? Blood of the Moon
Just started Steven Erikson's Blood of the Moon, and I've got to say the first 3 chapters have the COOLEST depiction of mages on a battlefield I have ever read. They remind me of an old fashioned 5000 points a side Warhammer game with the old rules where magic was still dominant. If the rest of the series is like this I'll be thrilled.
